United States: Ohio Facility
Located in Eaton, Ohio, Silfex headquarters is the world's largest custom silicon growing facility and provides services including prototyping and manufacturing of low-volume components and assemblies, and offers silicon blanks and ingots in a variety of sizes. Engineering expertise is on-hand to review customer requirements and provide input to improve the design, function and manufacturability. The Eaton, Ohio site has world-class critical cleaning capability and bonding that meets the toughest metal contamination and particle specifications.
China: Suzhou Facility
Strategically located near Shanghai, the Suzhou facility provides high-volume, low-cost manufacturing for components and assemblies developed, piloted and then transitioned from Silfex’s US facility. OEM proprietary designs are protected with rigorous security controls. Further cost reduction benefits are realized through the Suzhou facility’s free trade zone status. Capabilities at the Suzhou facility include wire slicing and sawing, Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machining, lapping and polishing, and acid etch/clean. Clean room packaging and expert quality assurance meet the needs of the most advanced technologies.
